After visiting the Hearst Mining Building on the Berkeley campus, I measured the facade, the second floor, and the immediate surroundings of the building with my body (i.e. measuring the width of a room with how many steps it took for me to cross it). With these measurements, I drew, one free-handed and one with drafting tools, an unfolded drawing of the second floor, facade, and the two buildings across from Hearst Mining. The drawing also included the landscaping that lay in between the buildings.
